why do I seek your affection

in absence of possible hope

lonely child/haunted man

attracting impossible dreams

looking for love

gives poetry life

balancing pain

gives life meaning

but until such time

that you love what's mine

here's your favorite flower

some cheese and red wine

let us drink to the dreams
